Chalet Qitsuk is built from fustes, those raw hand-hewn logs that give the chalet its distinctive scent and its cocooning feel. You are on the edge of the forest, in a quiet neighbourhood where the only visitors are the deer and squirrels early in the morning. Inside, everything is ready: carefully chosen bedding, underfloor heating, a kitchen you can really cook in, and a 40 m² living room where the sun drops in at every hour of the day.
Why you'll love it
Log walls, warm in every season. When evening comes, you light the stove, the crackle of the fire fills the room and the large living room slowly warms up. All that's left is to settle in and enjoy the moment. The firewood is there, stacked for you.
The free shuttle to Pyrénées 2000 passes at the end of the street and takes you quickly to the ski slopes. On the way back, you leave skis and boots in the dedicated room, out of the wet. In the warm months, the hiking trails start a few steps from the chalet: no need to take the car.
Due south, mountain-peak views from the terrace in winter, the forest starting in the garden in summer. The Cerdanya is one of the sunniest regions in France. Here the light is everywhere, and that changes everything! The days feel longer, the landscapes brighter, and every season reveals its own charm.
