A real cabin, not a set
Walls of Douglas fir logs, warm in every season. When evening comes, you light the stove and the big living room warms right up. The firewood is already there, stacked and waiting.

Superbolquère · Catalan Pyrenees · 1,800 m
A chalet all to yourselves, built from hand-stacked Douglas fir. The wood stove crackling in the evening, the south-facing terrace in the morning, and the Font-Romeu Pyrénées 2000 slopes five minutes away.
The place
Chalet Qitsuk is built the old way, from raw logs stacked by hand, and the walls keep that scent of wood and that quiet. You're on the edge of the forest, in a neighbourhood where nothing happens except the deer and squirrels passing by at first light. Inside, everything is ready: bedding chosen with care, underfloor heating beneath your feet, a kitchen made for real cooking, and a 40 m² living room the sun crosses all day long.
Why you'll love it
Walls of Douglas fir logs, warm in every season. When evening comes, you light the stove and the big living room warms right up. The firewood is already there, stacked and waiting.
The free shuttle to Pyrénées 2000 is at the end of the street. On the way back, skis and boots go straight into the dedicated room, out of the wet.
Due south, mountain views from the terrace, the forest starting at the garden. Cerdagne is one of the sunniest corners of France, and it changes everything.
